Katrina Rudge has spent her life surrounded by the extraordinary beauty of antique European textiles. What began as a personal passion for collecting became a calling — to share these remarkable pieces with designers, collectors, and craftspeople who understand their value.
Her shop at 701 Sutter Street in historic Old Town Folsom is more than a boutique — it's a curated museum of wearable and usable art. Customers come from across California and beyond, drawn by the reputation of her extraordinary selection and her warm, knowledgeable service.
Katrina personally sources every item in the shop — traveling to European markets, estate sales, and specialist dealers to find pieces that meet her exacting standards. She knows the history of each item and loves to share the stories behind them.
The shop specializes in pieces from the 18th century through the 1950s: handmade bobbin lace from Belgium and France, velvet and silk ribbons from Lyon, metallic trims from Italy, passementerie from Parisian ateliers, and one-of-a-kind buttons, tassels, and fabrics from across the continent.

Every piece in the shop has been personally selected by Katrina. Nothing generic, nothing mass-produced — only genuine antiques with history and character.
Katrina travels to and sources from France, Belgium, Italy, England, and beyond — bringing the finest European textile heritage to Old Town Folsom.
Whether you're a costume designer, a quilter, a collector, or simply someone who appreciates beautiful things, Katrina's is your destination.
All items date from the 18th century through the 1950s. Each piece is authenticated and comes with Katrina's personal knowledge of its origin and history.

Our corner storefront on Sutter Street is nestled among the charming Victorian buildings and boutiques of Historic Folsom. Come for the textiles, stay for the neighborhood — and make a day of it.
